Default So. Cal.

Hello from Menifee, Riverside County, Ca. We're giving her (our Hi-Lo 2589RD named Big Baby) an exterior paint job at home. We're about halfway done and she's looking a whole lot better already. Staying busy at home while social distancing is in effect.

Angel, what yaar is yours!? I have an '85 that used to belong to my grandfather. It's in desperate need of a paint job. I'm curious to see your before and after!

Default So Cal HiLo 2021

Well my friends here in So Cal, anyone want to set up a group camp out in the very new future? I am not a good organizer but would love to meet others. We if you who ever you are we would prefer a place with full hookups or at least E an W and Restrooms with showers (for the wife). Some suggestions, Prado Dam campground, Yucaipa Regional Park, Lytle Creek, Launch Pointe and San Mateo campground. If you are good at organizing and could put together I would love to go depending on the dates.

My6mejias, I have a 1989 (2589RD), we painted her at home. A lot of sanding and prepping! but it was worth it!! We think she looks a lot better. The paint job is holding up well; we used paint rollers and brushes. Here's a couple of pictures, before and after.

Angel, you did a marvelous paint job! With your rig all hooked up and ready to go, it looks so new. Do you have any camping prospects coming up?

Thank you Dee for the compliments, I had to replace the hot water heater last week; We still want to take her out camping one last time this year; it's still warm enough here in So. California.

It was a lot of work, but it was worth it!! We get a lot of compliments on the road and camping. (I don't know why the photos are being uploaded sideways).
