2013 HiLo National Rally - Hi-Lo camper travel trailer forum

The Minnie-Hi-Lo Club of Minnesota asked me to put the registration forms for the upcoming 2013 HiLo National Rally on the forum. Please let me know if you can print them out ok. Here they are:

Jack, thanks for the confirmation on the forms. Colorado is having the rally in 2014. Perhaps we will see you there.

Hi Bob:
Use the 2nd one that works the best. The first one you did one line didnt get on the scan. As far as i can print out. Thanks Elmer, Minne-HI-LO Club. The club does not have a web site.

Second print out is great. Big print and very readable. No problems printing out.

Hi everyone...

Not trying to be a nitpick, and I haven't spent every day on here, like I used to, and I dont think as many others do...

I want to state that someone with information, needs to POST the information, or link to information about this "gathering" INSIDE this thread! This way if I or others stumble into this thread, with the forms, we can EASILY find related information. I would like to go, and started to look for info, just in case I can.

No biggie, you know... Some days I'm simply web-blind and multi tasking, lol. but having more info in this thread or links would save me (and others) from not finding it.

Just a suggestion.

Did I skim the 2 PDF's too quickly? I didn't see dates for one thing, I just saw what looked like forms I send if I want to go. Ill go look again after I post this, just so I can look even dumber, lol.

then the other was that I assumed they might have website, or maybe Facebook or info webpage, for example about the get together. If they don't have one then I understand. My folks are a part of the Safari Coach association, which doesnt have a forum that I know of, but they do have website and stuff. IMHO this HTF site (and the hilo Yahoo user group) seems to be the main "information" site. this thread is all I have seen about any Rally... and I was Just thinking out loud, we have a lot, then some things we (as a community) are missing some things...

OK it is just dumb ol me.... But again, Here's what I see: mid bottom of page 2, there is the "IMPORTANT EVENT INFO" that I never made it to... Plus I cant copy and past from the PDF, so you are in trouble if I have to try to type it, lol, if you knew how badly I type from written documents, lol.

But IMHO, (thinking group promoting if you know what I mean...) Then the thread should probably be RENAMED to something like "2013 National HI-LO rally, June 10-14 2013" and featured on the default 1st page that loads when you open "www.hilotralerforum.com" website...

and the 1st post should have this information in it.

I received my 2013 Hi Lo Rally packet in today's mail. Thanks Gail. It is 777 Lady Luck Drive in Hinckley, MN. The packet contains a pamplet for the rv park which shows layout of sites. You can also do a Google maps search on this address and see a satellite view of the campground and the cansio right next to it. Actually Lady Luck Drive looks to run behind the campground and the main entrance looks likes it is on Hwy. 48 which is Fire Monument Road. If interested you can get a really good view on Google.

Thanks for the updated posting. Your layout of the campground shows what I was talking about in a previous post about the entrance being on Hwy 48 although the campgrounds address is 777 Luck Lady Drive? Thanks again

Papa -- Sounds like you and DW have made an early decision to attend the 2013 rally. I'm green with envy!! Beach needs surgery in the next few weeks on a rotator cuff at his shoulder. Dr. Dalton sent him over to Mt. Pleasant for an MRI, which does specialized imaging for this type of injury. Therefore, we are putting the decision off for the rally until we see how successful the surgery is and how successful the recuperation is. If I knew how to handle the towing and hitching myself, I would just toss him in the truck, bandages, pain killers, and all, and head on out to the rally. I guess I need to correct that deficiency. I wonder if Jim and Faye are thinking about going. Jim is always up for a good cross-country trip.

Just throw Beach into the truck (with a "Jack Daniels drip") and he will be fine.

Aim your rig toward Ohio and we will get you there. Best of luck to Beach and hope you guys (ya'll) have a good one.

Dee, it sounds like Beach is getting very good specialized care. Mom mom had this surgery and did fine with postop physical therapy. Wishing Beach a good surgical outcome and recovery. I think you have until March to register for the rally. I tried to hitch up our HiLo and couldn't seem to get the weight distributing bar in correctly. Hard to do with all the herniations in my lower back. Occupational hazard from my seventeen years working as a Nurse.

Hi Dee
Yes Faye and I are going. Will most likely keep on to the North West after the rally. Going to put off the next trip to Alaska until 2014. Throw Beach in the back of the pickup and follow us to the rally. I can help you set up along the way and you will be an old pro by the time we get there. Maybe we can get Papa to caravan with us. Anyone else want to join in? Tell Beach we hope he gets thru the operation OK. I will provide him with some good old southern pain killer.

Sorry to hear about Beach's problem. Ditto on everyone's comments. Between us all we should be able to get you guys up to the rally. It just sounds like you may have join the big caravan heading that way. After that you know somebody help out.
Tell Beach to take care and we'll keep y'all in our prayers. (Dee I used "y'all" to throw Ohio folks off guard)

I think he will have his surgery sometime soon and the physical therapy recuperation time should be about six weeks. By the time the rally rolls around the surgery will be a fading memory.
