Default Is a Funlite a Classic?

My best guess is it is a Classic. I looked at the brochure and the outsidefiberglass and graphics are the same as my 1990 25ft. Classic. The interior has the upgraded cabinents and the same type upholstery as mine. Put in my vote for a Classic. The Classics weigh more than a Towlite.

I beg to differ with you Sam. I think Funlite was built different from the Classic. It had its own brochure. It was more like an upscale Towlite. Look on the second page of the attached article and you will see a small picture of a 1993 Funlite brochure.

My computure wouldn't open up the file. I'll see if my daughter can get it to work. I'll will ask someone at Mantelli trailer. All I'm saying is the 93 brochure looks just like my same exterior fiberglass and decals. The pictures of the interior look like my same cupboards and upholstery. Interesting question that I will get an answer for.

As I think about it more, the Funlite may have been a predecessor to the Towlite. There was a time when Classics were being built at the original Butler factory and then they opened the Bellville factory to build Towlites. The Funlites may have been built at Butler. Eventually all HiLo trailers moved into the Bellville factory.

My memory bank is having flashbacks.
