2001 Towlite Brochure

boater454 01-26-2012 07:49 AM

Thanks for posting. I didn't have one of these for mine.

Hi. Could you repost the 2001 brochure. For soem reason I can't get the file to open. It states it's corrupted and won't open.

RichR 01-28-2012 06:55 PM

I'll put it on again but it comes up ok for me and the previous poster. It has had 26 views. Let me know if it works for you.

PopRichie77 01-28-2012 08:29 PM

Just tested and I got the same error.

RichR 01-28-2012 08:31 PM

I don't have a clue as to why. Maybe somebody has a solution.

RichR 01-28-2012 08:59 PM

Did anyone try opening any of the other files I uploaded?

dirtfan 01-29-2012 07:26 AM

It opened for me with no problems

jcurtis95 01-29-2012 07:41 AM

I had no problem opening it.

Check your version of Adobe Reader, there may be something to do with that. I have Adobe X , Version 10.1.2

You may want to do an update if you have an older version.

PopRichie77 01-29-2012 04:15 PM

I have same version, still get error, other PDF files open fine, I didn't need, was just testing.

RichR 01-29-2012 05:00 PM

Try any of the other files that I uploaded. I did them all at the same time.

vannooch 01-29-2012 08:49 PM

I'm running the same version of Adobe X as you and can open the 2000 towlite brochure, but not this one.
Was this a PDF brochure or a scan?
It may have been corrupted during the scan if it was indeed a scanned brochure.

RichR 01-30-2012 07:42 AM

Thanks Vannooch,

I had the same problem on my old laptop. I think that I will delete that thread and the file I saved then start over again. It was the first brochure that I scanned and converted to PDF. I may have done something wrong.

I haven't downloaded the latest Adobe reader yet but here is the link for it plus installation instructions. I caution you though, while the download for Adobe Readers are always free, there is a Macafee Anti-Virus download offer that is already pre-selected for you and unless you want Macafee antivirus loaded on your computer, you need to de-select this item before downloading.

When downloading programs like this, I always 'save to file' [your download folder], scan it with my anti-virus, then install it. Really not necessary here as it is is a direct download from Adobe which is a trusted source.

Download: Version 10.1.2
Adobe - Adobe Reader download - All versions

Instructions:
Adobe - When Opening dialog box appears, click Save File.

I have Adobe Acrobat 9.0. Other files that you have downloaded have worked ok. I'll try to load it on my other computer.

I acquired what seems to be a slightly clearer version of the brochure.
