Lowering Checklist

This checklist may save you some unplanned damage. I wrote it after a close call with leaving the water pressure regulator in place after removing the hose. I just saw it in time before lowering the top.

I would add check the tongue area for any items sat there such as bug candles. Not that I know from it happening to me but it did. Close the wardrobe door too.

Checklist Updated

OK. I did an upgrade and left space to add your own items.

lpmincey: May I suggest placing your regulator at the spigot end of your hose. You will accomplish two things--removing danger referred to in your thread and protecting your hose from spiking water pressure.

Regulator Placement

That solution is too simple for me, i like to do things the hard way.

Thanks for the idea.

Kengsr - You are a man after my own heart. A checklist for everything important - It's easier to have a list than to have OCD and check everything twice. Thanks - I have separated mine into - Leaving home/ Returning drycamping vs RV park. Drycamping includes 6 gallon water jug, small blackwater tank and extra spare tire and second battery.

nice checklist I added to it, then printed a few to keep in the camper.

Important item

For those of us that drycamp there is a critical item you left out. Right before Black water drained there should be one that says. Tighten clamps on sewer hose. Failure to do so can ruin your whole day.:(

Rolff,
I had bought a new hose for the 95 but never used it. We got the 2209 and I started using the new hose, was ok till this winter in Florida and it sure can ruin your day. I couldn\'t believe that I forgot to check the hose clamp.
