81 Hi Lo T-21

Afternoon.
Bought my first Hi Lo a year ago and it has been sitting in mothballs, but this is it's year to roll out. I joined a year ago but this is my first post. I am in the North GA Mtns and checking out different places to go when retirement kicks in. I have been hearing about certain campgrounds that only let super campers in and discriminate against us older shorter types. I have issues with the electrical in the Hi Lo and am looking for some help. Thanks:rolleyes:

Welcome to the forum Beekeeper96. You need to be specific about electrical issues, as solutions can be varied.:)

Hey congrats on getting your Hilo up and running, I am in a similar position.

Decided to park mine for the season at a great spot. Turns out the place has a 10 year old rule. They won't allow any campers older than 10 years on, however once there the camper can stay as long as you do,, they won't allow you to sell to someone else. When you go the camper goes with you.

Anyway a guy that works at the place came by dropped off a picnic table, commented. Hilo's were nice campers and my smaller one was all anybody really needs, it has everything. I agreed. He asked what year it was? I said 85, he looked stunned and said wow, "you did well" that's when he told me about the 10 year rule. I got lucky I guess.

I guess you did get lucky Pat! You know with all this talk about tiny houses and they sell for over 10-20 thousand dollars a good camper HiLo or otherwise will suffice nicely. I live in the mountains of North GA and want to be a true snowbird and leave this place in late October or November and head south or west and work a little and have some nice quiet time, maybe a job in an RV park or something. I can't wait to get in my tiny house and move around a little bit.
