Which Hardside pop/crank up... where to yack

don't mean to be disrespectful.. but don't know where else yet to go to get info/ comparisons between the different manufacturers... obviously there will be Hi-Lo enthusiast / affecianodo and fanatics lurking here that will have biased opinions... but please refrain from that. Not found a general hard side pop up forum that discusses these pop-up beast yet so here I am.

I'll be looking for a hard side pop up type rig over next couple years. NOT a hybrid with pop outs. A hard side slide up. NOT "A" frame. Does not have to be Hi-Lo .Looking forward to your suggestions.

As mentioned above also looking for a bulletin board/forum where this type of trailer is discussed a lot and prefer one not limited to one manufacturer. Suggestions?

The use of this trailer will be very not typical. It won't even be a pull behind. It will be mounted on a flat bed of a military truck (LMTV). Needs to be able to take a good shake rattle and roll. Know a fellow with a Hi-Lo that has done similar and sorry to say..... it's not holding up to well even though the mount of the trailer is very sophisticated to help eliminate the trailer from getting any stresses when the chassis of his truck twist. Old Alaskan's have been used and hold up well but they are hard to find and .... they are Cab over which is not what am looking for.

Open to suggestions here or via PM.

OOP's my bad. Maybe this fits better in the Curious forum. Moderator feel free to move it.

I only know two manufacturers . Hi-lo and Trail Manor. And, yes, this is a Hi-Lo forum and the bia will be present because that is what most of us know. And.because there are only two mfgs that we know of......there isn't a general forum that I am aware of that discuss the pros and cons of all- like there would be with, say, truck campers. I think I know what you are planning to do and I would agree that the types of stresses and abuse those rigs are often subjected to may do BOTH, Hi-Lo and Trail-Manor, a deal of harm in the long run. Trail Manors are lighter and, because of their configuration, maybe more flexible, but I cant say because I have never camped in one. Good luck, though.
