Hello Everybody!

Hello everybody, I just wanted to introduce myself on here as I am brand new to the forum, and Hi-Lo campers themselves. Last night (5/16) I actually purchased my first one. It's a 1982 Voyager 2582. I did a thorough walk through of the camper before I purchased it, and most everything is in working order, and for the price I paid i feel like I got it for a steal. What I'm mostly curious about from anybody with experience is what issues in particular to look for, and what your recommendations for anything I may not know to think about.
Thank you for taking the time to check this one out, and I look forward to posting pictures as this comes together more.

Welcome to the forum.

Browse the how to operate videos. Ask specific questions and we will help. With a unit that old you should take out all the windows and reseal with butyl tape and Lexel caulk on the exterior. Utube has a video on how to do this.

Welcome to the forum! Several members here have Hi Los of that vintage, and love them. Like any other RV, Hi LOs require maintenance, goes along with having fun camping in style.
As sam said, view the videos. They can be found toward the bottom of the home page under "reference library". Under the heading Hi Lo Owners Manual. First one are the videos. Take your time viewing them, full of info. There are 32 short videos.
Like any other RV, we don't want leaks anywhere! So points of entry, such as window frames are key. Ask questions, learn your unit and you'll be a much happier camper.
Again, welcome,
Tree

Thank you guys for the info! I'm actually already in the process of resealing the windows and the door. The wife and I have already been at work on it quite a bit over the weekend. I've was taking some pictures with my phone when a storm rolled through and i left my phone sitting on the hood of my truck so when I get my replacement later this week I'll try to take some more pictures and possibly start an album to post when it's all said and done.
Thanks again so much!
