Yes you're right, I thought about taking it to a scale. Then I thought .... what difference does it make now. I bought it, I own it, I have to tow it. Actually, it should have been part of the buying decision. The trailer has brakes and my truck is rated to tow 9500 lbs and it tows it fine. The weight distributing hitch and suspension air bags compensate for the tongue weight. Although, I probably exceed the hitch rating. But, I still think about going to a scale because I'm curious.

Looks like 4 lift cables, 2 attaching points on each side of the top. I didn't go underneath to count, I'm wearing a clean shirt.

We live in Odessa a little north of Tampa. It would be about a 2 or 2 1/2 hr drive from Bonita Springs (if your avatar location is still correct). And we would love to meet you. Call or text 813 245 5448 for directions

We'll see what we can do. Have kin in Tampa, Davis Island. Maybe a trip to see them could work into meeting you! I'll let you know. Sounds like fun
Thanks,

Default Getting your HiLo weighed.

I wouldn't feel right if I didn't strongly suggest you get your trailer weighed. It is a must to have the right tow vehicle for your trailer weight. The weight of gear, people, water and propane all factor in. Keep us posted.

You're right Sam. I'll have to follow through with that.
