Hi Gents just joined and looking to buy a trailer, want what everyone else wants, a great deal, clean and hardly used! I have a short bed GMC 1996 V8 so I don't want one to big. I see many are 17' then jutmp to 22' do they make a 20' trailer would seem like the size for me? Thanks

Hi Joe and welcome! In case you don't know it, HiLos are measured differently than "ordinary" trailers. The length stated is the TOTAL length, from the tongue hitch coupler back to the rear bumper. Most trailer lengths of other brands don't include the tongue or rear bumper which add about 3 ft to the total length. So, my 17 ft HiLo has a "living box" length that is about 14 ft. (That length is perfect for us since we like to camp in Forest Service or National Park Campgrounds, where the campsites are smaller and access is more restricted.)

They DID make 19 and 21 ft HiLos, which sounds like what you are hoping to find. Have patience and one will show up.

- Jack

Default Welcome to the forum

You have joined a very friendly group of dedicated HiLo owners. Look in the library section for the different models and layouts.

If you want to get familiar with the different years/lengths, check out the (new) manufacturers website - they have the brochures for pretty much all years hosted there now.

Past Trailer Models | Hi-Lo Trailers

Also check the library here, folks have put together quite a bunch of info. (Main page, scroll down, last couple sections)
