I have a 1994 Funlite .
I am looking for replacement wheels for the ones on casters at the back of the trailer that keeps it from dragging when you go through a low place. I found some at tractor supply that show good up to 900 pounds does anyone have a suggestion or do you think these would work. Fayestewart53@yahoo.com |
I would think that whoever owned the camper before you added them. I've seen about 5 or 6 different Hi-Los and none of them have had casters. Do you think you really need the casters? Your probably losing 3-4 inches of clearance with them.

Welcome to the Forum!
The casters were not a Hi-Lo part. I have seen them on some travel trailers and older motor homes. Unless you have a problem getting in or out of a steep driveway I see no reason to have them. Amazon sells a couple items that may be close what you are describing. https://smile.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb...rv+skid+wheels RichR Moderator |
Found My Wheels
Well after a bit of a search I found what I wanted at Tractor Supply. They were the cheapest. The old ones were a bugger bear to get off must have been there quite sometime. My next project is to lube the cables I ordered Jet Lube from Amazon and checked the forum for the how to hopefully that will go smooth.
I am also installing an electric jack hate cranking on the Manuel one .I watched a video on that so off I go .Thanks to all for the help. This forum is a great source of information. :) |
Electric Jack
You will love having an electric Jack. Be sure to read the manual that comes with it. Some preventive maintenance needed yearly.
