Finally found the HiLo I've been looking for ( 12 months of searching ). I found it in Suprise, AZ. It is a 2009 17 ft. that is in new condition ... less than 2,000 miles. a fridge/freezer, microwave, 3 burner stove top, bath cabinet counter and sink, an ac unit, 3 matching goodyear tires in new condition. It was stored in AZ after just three small trips by the original owners. They even provided original manuals for everything in and on the trailer. Towing with a GMC 2012 Sierra and barely know it's back there, towed with ease even with in a constant 30 mph crosswind across I-10 throughTexas. The truckers loved it at the rest stops and I had to provide several tours of the trailer to the drivers. Hope to be on the road soon ... TJO
Have been posting on "travel trailer forum", but thought this may be the quickest way to find out this information. I am about to replace all butyl stripping used around windows of my recently purchased 1980 Hi Lo. The 1" pan head square drive screws are to be replaced with stainless steel screws. Locally... these are not available. My drive will be 35 miles one way to purchase these items.
Can you tell me if the size of these screws is a No 10 x 1" lg." , or No. 8? I can buy them as a bulk item. Thanks Dabbler
Thanks for the info. Just bought a 2002 Hilo, brought it home and the cable broke. My husband wants to fix it himself so, I am glad I could find instructions.
