1976 Has Steel or Aluminum Square Tubing Frame

My 1976 2176B has square tubing. It may be Steel, but because there was no Rust, I believe it may be Aluminum. And, it was coated with the lite green primer type paint. :)

If it won't take a charge from your charger, you can take it to a Dealer (i.e., Interstate Batteries) and after a 24 Hr. Charge from them it should bring it back to the state it was in previously....

I've run mine on gas while traveling for over 40 years! For clarification, the PO on my '76 did so, and I did too! Have had NO problems doing the same with my "new" 2000.:)
