i still dont quite know how the electricity works yet lol, on 120v everything works, on dc do the 120 outlets not work?

our 2208t hilo doesnt have a microwave and the wife wants one. looking in the hole where it goes i dont see power. Where do you plug it into. Can it be ran while on dc. Anybody have one they really...
