Good catch, Bob. riki - a surge protector CAN be damaged by a surge. The E-10 code indicates that's what happened, and, in that case, it has to be returned.

riki - I just looked up the EMS-PT30C, and it automatically resets after a fault. I notice it also protects against both high and LOW voltages. I would think low voltage conditions (think brownout)...
