I just made mine about 1/2" narrower than the seat width. Same length as seats. THEN I found out I needed to 45 the one corner by the fridge. :o
These are not rocket science and a piece of 1/2...

I made mine from scrap wood that cost me $2.00. My 81 Fun Chaser table is now 43 x 31but I need to cut a corner off at a 45° angle on one corner as I can't get in or out...
