Default 2308C Classic HiLo For Sale - Sold

FOR SALE: 2008 2308C Classic HiLo Camper

If you're not familiar with a HiLo camper, it's a hard-shell camper that lowers to make a smaller towing profile with less wind resistance and better gas mileage, and uses an electrically powered hydraulic system to lift the top half when you set it up to camp.

Sleeps 4. Sofa converts into queen size bed. Dinette table drops to make a full size bed. Full kitchen with 3-burner propane cooktop, propane oven (that looks like it's never been used), two basin sink, AC/DC/Propane refrigerator, and range hood exhaust. Full bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. Outdoor shower hookup. Propane furnace, AC powered air conditioning, Fantastic Fan that blows air in or out, plus a separate bathroom vent fan. Dual 30-lb propane tanks, AC/Propane water heater. Roof-mount TV antenna. AM/FM/CD stereo. New awning installed last year. Roof and windows recently resealed. Battery replaced last year. Power tongue jack. 30 gal fresh water holding tank, 32 gal gray water holding tank, 30 gal black water holding tank. Everything works well in the camper (the furnace will definitely keep you warm, and the A/C will freeze you out). "Non Smoking" trailer.

Now ... here's why we're selling it. The right front lift cable snapped (right front when looking at the camper from the rear). We have purchased all of the parts and tools to fix it, but discovered we don't have the available time to fix it, nor the mechanical aptitude to undertake the repair. We recently purchased the camper, but are willing to sell it for less than we purchased it. We will include all of the parts and specialty tools we've purchased, should the buyer want to make the repairs themselves (or maybe they know someone with the ability to make the repairs). It is said that the replacement of the cables takes about 8-10 hours ... and maybe even less than that for those who are more mechanically inclined. These are NICE campers, and even used, they sell for between $12K and $14K ... when you can find them. We are offering ours for $6,000 (OBO) as is. The camper has a clear title, ready to transfer to you when you make your purchase!

(This is verbatim my ad on Craigslist (KC area)).
