Default $4000 to spend?

I have $4,000 to spend on the largest Hi lo I can get. Would love to have one with the rear bedroom. I do not want a fixer upper, definitely no leakers. I might try to finance a used one from a dealer also.

Thanks,
Scott

You might get a better response if you list your location and how far you are willing to travel!

my $.02

You might want to check on rvtrader.com or oodle.com. Hi-Lo's are out there. You just gotta do some searching. Not sure how much trailer or what condition you'll find in that price range.

Don't want to rain on your parade, but I think you will be hard pressed to find a unit with a rear bedroom (walk around bed?) in your price range.

Seems like there is a void around that price, they are either 5-7k and nice or 2-3k and not so nice. Sometimes a nice one will pop up on Craigslist for a good price but like anything good priced on Craigslist you have to be ready as it will disappear in less then a day. I missed a pair of Honda trail bikes the other day that sold within 20 mins of posting, silly me I waited a whole hour to call LOL!

I have an 18 ft (21 Ft total length) Hi Lo that is a 1995 Funlite. It does not leak but it does need a bit of work on the bottom of the top right panel. Apparently the folks we bought it from had a leak at some point and didn't realize it and it has now rusted through the bottom of that area. It doesn't seem to affect anything and the leak is no longer there as everything was dry when I finally found it . I am selling it for what I paid for it which was $5000. I have already put over $1000 into it as the gray tank had to be replaced and it needed a new pilot unit for the water heater, along with fixing a few minor items. We have taken it out a few times this summer and like it, but hubby wanted a Queen bed so we bought a regular camper that is longer to accommodate the bed. Like someone else mentioned, for that price you will be hard pressed to find one with a rear bed. The sofa makes into a bed as does the dinette and there is also an overhead bed above the sofa area. Everything works fine, hot water, good AC/furnace and stereo. Also has cable, tv and a cd player, as well as an AC/DC convertor and I am selling it with a brand new cover (cost over $200) and the hitch and towing stabilizers. These range around $400 and up alone! For a 21 year old camper it has been well taken care of and is in very good condition with the exception of the problem I mentioned earlier. I live in Lexington, NC and if you are interested in seeing it or having me send you pics my email is <Hikinggma@gmail.com> Thanks

Here's one, 1989 22 ft model, just under $4K and in Omaha (537 miles from Denver).

1989 Hi-Lo Trailer Hi-Lo 2289L, Omaha NE - - RVtrader.com

I know of a very nice 1999 Hi-Lo for $7000 south of Pueblo, CO. I think it's 24 or 25 ft. It's in excellent condition. Current owner is a retired home-builder so he's maintained it very well. FSBO
