Hoping to find a 19-22' Hi Lo, 2002 or newer in good shape, in Florida.
Any leads are appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The video is self-explanatory.

During the video, you will notice a hole where the antenna signal booster goes. We broke it but it's now replaced. Same goes for the entry door slider panel which got UV damaged & cracked.

We are usually at The Fort Pickens campground on the panhandle at this time of year but the shutdown put paid to that.

I do make regular checks of other RV sales websites and check Craigslist around Florida and surrounding states, trying not to miss anything that might pop up.

Camping season is ending
for many people up north,
But now a lot of other people
Are heading south to Florida.
The snow bird variety.

I am still hoping to find a
Late model 19 or 22 Hi Lo.

I have found that a good
number of people unfortunately weren't
aware of the need to diligently
maintain the seams of the roof and
the seals around the windows
of their trailers and end up with some
water damage in the walls.

I am not "up" for a rebuild project
so I search long and hard for
one that's been well maintained.

Hoping that my patience
eventually pay offs.

GoCamp, patience will pay off. It truly took me almost 4 years to find a "qualified" Hi Lo. And one of the first things completed was a window reseal. Then, over time we made it "ours". That was several Hi Los ago. Now, we wouldn't part with our 27'er.

So, what is it you are looking for? perfection?

these will all be used unless you get one off the dealer lot brand new, those are small ones. Used campers will have issues. The ones that are redone, repaired and brought up to perfection are by the people who just bought it and fixed it for themselves. These are very rarely for sale. After that they start to wear out again and eventually the owners of a perfect remodeled hilo have an imperfect unit unless they constantly do maintenance and keep it in a barn.
If you want perfection then yo have to be that owner that puts it that way.

That said, I did have one that I brought back. I had to do so much work that I could not enjoy it. All I saw was the hard work and lots of time put into it. The roof, ceiling, frame, electrical, plumbing, fridge, AC etc were all perfect. All it needed was some interior touches which I never got to. It really did not need the touches, but to be fully show room it did…

I sold it. You missed that one.

Also, why is it so important to have a HILO? There are pros, but also cons. It might even out. Unless you plan to do a ton of driving, or just have to put the camper in the garage at home, then your perfection might be in another brand.

I never knew when lifting the top if that would be the last lift before something broke. Always scary.
