Default AC outlet

I need the box and the AC connector that goes in the top of my hilo. i have already talked to midget and they do not have the outlet. My hilo has the outside cable for the AC in the cable box but no where to connect it to the top. I do have the spot where the outlet box goes. The previous owner covered the spot with tape and insulation. I also have to find an AC unit this camper does not have it currently.

I may be able to help you out. I am parting out a 2001 Hilo /towlite. Any pics or more info on the box/connector to help me understand what you need.
I also have a AC unit from my HiLo that is in working condition. DuoThermo is brand

Default outlet.

Thanks for posting a picture of the big hole where the Ac outlet goes. To me it looks like the hole is oversized? Only call my HiLo dealer if you will be purchasing the part from him. Jay Simon in parts. 716-625-8877. We had to replace this part on our 1990 Classic. They ship anywhere. Have him look at the picture you posted.

I found a leviton 5278 worked great on my camper for the AC plug. I did have to change the box for the leviton outlet to work on my camper.

leviton 5278-cwp for connecting wire to the back directly or 5278-fwp to connect fork terminals to the back. you will have to replace the box behind the side for the four screws instead of the two screws on the original outlet.

Default AC electrical box.

That looks like the right part for the exterior AC plug. Be sure to caulk around the exterior of the AC outlet if you haven't already done this. Another very important repair. Go on you tube and check out how to remove windows and reseal with butyl tape. DH has used Lexel caulk on the exterior. Purchased at ACE hardware for about $10.00 a tube. This is a premium caulk. No one told us to take out our windows for resealing. Then we had extensive wall damage to repair.
