Can't answer that question but with the company shutting down we need to find out who the manufacture is. Does anyone know? JIM L

Default Window cover

On our trip to Alaska last year the front of the trailer got peppered with many small nicks. If not for the cover, the window would have gotten these nicks or cracked. On the last models of the Hi-Lo there is no cover. If you plan to travel on gravel roads you may want to make a cover or find one on a damaged trailer and install it. I will also put mud flaps on my truck before I go back to Alaska next year. Not sure if mud flaps would totally protect an exposed window tho.

Doncat,

Contact Joel at Official Hi-Lo Repair. He purchased a bunch of the factory parts inventory and claims to have the blueprints and parts source info. If he doesn't have the shields in stock, he may know where to get them.

I've E-mailed him about day/night shades and have received quick responses. As far as the shades go, his prices seemed very reasonable... less than they cost at big orange. There are hot links to his website in several different places in this forum.

Good luck,
Jim

You can contact Joel like others are saying or contact J&R Repair. We replaced our big window on our Hi-Lo 4 years ago because of a baseball in the RV park where we were camping. We purchased the window from JR Enterprize when Greg was still there. He said he ordered it from the manufacture. It was quite pricey to replace and shipping was quite pricey also. It came all crated with everything you needed to install it. It was a several person job. If I remember correctly it cost about 700.00. UPS delivered it right to our door. Good luck

About window covers: We sent an order (for something else) to Joel at Official Hi-Lo Parts & Repair, and I asked him about window covers... he said they did have them. He also reported that that they were in progress adding more parts to there website catalog.

Didn't think to ask him about replacement windows.

I just saw a replacement front window on their website for $375. Shipping is expensive on top of that. It has to be crated.
