2005 Classic 2505C
Can anyone tell me what the height on this model is from the ground to the top of the AC in the down position - trying to determine if it'll fit in a standard garage?

Go to library section, it will have a brochure for that year, should be about 90"

Jim L,
You just saved me a job I've been meaning to do for some time. You measured your 2805C. Since I have the same you did me a favor. So thanks, job well done. Now, is that to the top of the AC? Thanks. God Bless Papa |

To all,
Many thanks to you all for your time and effort in providing me with some very valuable information, I now know this particular model will not fit in my garage. Again, many thanks. Roymel |
For info, I just measured my 2203 towlite and found it to be 84" to the top of the AC unit, plus or minus an inch.

You probably already know this, but the HiLo trailers with tipouts are higher than those without.

Love the video, that sure fixes the AC drip. |
How high the AC Momma?
I suppose the measurement question has been figured out by now, but for other owners of HiLos... try this. Providing your HiLo is setting on a driveway, or level surface, place a step ladder next to it. One member climbs the ladder.
Place one end of a 2 by 4 at least 8 foot long, (or use a long rod, or pole), on the top of the AC unit. Family member on the ladder raises the opposite end until you think it looks near horizontal as possible. Measure the distance from the bottom of the 2 by 4 to the ground. One thing to remember though. Most garage door openings have a slight rise from ground level into the garage. This keeps rain water from flowing into the garage. Just remember to make compensation for the fact a trailer will rise also as it goes into the garage also. Lots of Luck... |
