2010 2310 purchase question

After consideration of the hilo trailer and reading through the forums I've decided to purchase my first hilo. I started by wanting to have something as a weekender that could be parked in my one car garage located behind my house. This meant it would also have to clear my house Eve to get back there. The casita and scamp were so so. I'm 6'3. Long story short I found the hilo 17t. The thing seemed perfect. My current tow rig being a 13 fj cruiser I thought I couldn't go wrong. Till the lady said no because of the shower design. Ugh.
Ok...fast forward. Found a 2310H LOCAL! Got the approval! Looked at it today and I'm getting my $ for the deal.

1. Exterior passenger side fiberglass has an delamimation wave over the dinette window. Owner says he's had lots of hilos and they all seem to do this. That true? It's from Texas and is pretty darn clean so I'm not sure on this one.

2. The shades look ok but spotty from condensation perhaps at some point? No weak walls or spotty looking ceiling. Anyone have this too?

3. When asked how he winterized the holding tanks he said he poured some rv antifreeze in it. This is my first rv and I haven't got that far yet. I'm pretty handy and I'll get there. I just really would like a hilo and don't want to miss this one at winter pricing so I'm jumping the gun a little.

I went over the prepurchase check sheet on here best I could.

I have an older hi-lo.
There is no where in my trlr that you could walk without ducking.
Since you did look at it, I assume you did a walk through.

The rv anti-freeze is ok, hope he put it in the drains also, for the ptraps.
It is now 7 years old. spotted shades would be normal. delam, others with newer trls will chime in.

Purchasing a HiLo

I would be helpful to see a picture of the delamination. Sometimes this happens from a leak in the window. Most of us on the forum realize that all windows need to be taken out and resealed. This is a possible source for the delamination. Many of us have had to do extensive rebuilds due to delamination. Check the roof carefully as the metal roofs develop holes due to dissimilar metals. Age of tires and age of batteries are a consideration. Down the road you coukld end up replacing the ref.,furnice or AC and water heater. All somewhat costly. The good news is you will fall in love with this HiLo as we all have. The lampshades can be purchased at hobby lobby or Michaels craft store. Not a problem to replace as I had to get new shades for mine. Are they the fabric pleated kind. Welcome to the forum.

The walk through went quite well. 6'4 ceiling height was no problem at all. The floor felt solid. I was worried it would feel spongy or cheap like a lot of the lite newer trailers I've seen at the rv shows. Not at all. Quite impressed with the "feel". Even the cabinets felt solid.
I'm a car hobbiest and have a feeling this is going to take over since I love working on my house more. Lol

The delam is over the window not under it. The trailer was in a warm Texas climate I was told and only arrived here two months ago to the pacific north west wet climate. Unfortunately it is outside and we just had snow so I couldn't get a good look at the roof. I already plan on a recaulk and after purchase full maintenance. Just wondering if it's as common as the seller says.

Possible purchase of HiLo

It is not common for a trailer wall to have a bulge or delamination. I would not purchase this HiLo without a through inspection using the buyers checklist. It could cost around $6000.00 more just for a roof if you can't do the work your self. Don't be in a rush to purchase.
