290b???
 

I have a question about what does the 290B model number stand for with my trailer. I know in other trailers such as 2505 is a 25 ft 2005 model. I don't quite follow what the 290B stands for. I get the 29, its a 29 footer but the rest I don't know.

Are you sure it isn't 2908?

My 95 has these numbers 215TL. 21 is the length, 5 is 1995, T is for Towlite, L is for lounge in the front. There were two, 21 ft models in 95, layout in side was different, the other one was 215TD, D was for dinette in front.
290B would be 29 ft., 0 would be for 2000, I have no idea what B stands for but comparing it to the 95. I would say it has to do with the layout inside.

Wow confusing indeed. I just got out my my 2004 Hi-Lo brochure/ pamphlet. Which has all the models for 2004. There was 17T, 22T, 24LT, 24T, 27T, 24LC, 28C, and the 31C which we have. Seems that it all has to with the floorplan/layout like every mentioned. L is for front lounge just as PopRichie said. I know C stands for Classic. I also remembered there being a 31B so I did a search and found a 1994 31B & 1995 31B and a 1998 31B and they all have a bedroom at the back. Vannooch's guess is right B is for bedroom.

Wow thanks for all the responses. 29 is the footage, 0 is the year 2000 and the B is for bedroom. Got it. Thanks again, I was curious because I was looking for the answer in the Forum and couldn't find it.

I saw the brochure and those 29 and 31 foot floorplans look sweet. Wish we had one.

We love our 2004 31C. The selling point for us was that it had a stationary bed/ bedroom. Plus it had the tipout couch and the bench seating dinette. It has alot of room for the two of us. We were trying to plan ahead for retirement when we purchased it. We started out with a 96C 26RD but had to put the two couches down each night to make our bed. My husband has a bad back and I have a left arm & hand that was injured in a car accident and I have limited use of it so it was getting real hard to do the bed arrangement each time. We were going to sell it when we bought the 31ft but our kids & grandkids didn't want to part with it so they share it between them. My husband finally did retire last fall so now after all these years we are going to be able to do some major traveling with our hi-lo like we had planned to do. We are leaving Nebraska on June 20th for Seattle to visit our son & family and then on down the coast to Ca. to visit my husbands brother & family. We will be gone for 2 months. This winter we plan to go to Texas right after Christmas to winter in Texas for 3 months. Every now and again I do see the 29 & 31's for sale on oodle and ebay. There was a 2005 31ft last summer on ebay that looked to be in excellent condition. You just never know when one might popup.

31 ft Hi Lo
 

I've been in 31 ft Hi Lo at our national rally. They are beautiful and would be ideal for retirement,seasonal. Many times I,ve said their is no perfect trailer. You could use a second shorter Hi Lo for small campgrounds,longer trips such as Alaska ect. Sam
