Considering a Hi-Lo
3 Attachment(s)
Hello all! I'm new to this site and have owned travel trailers in the past but not for the last 10+ years and never a Hi-Lo. I miss camping and all of the wonderful people that you meet. This website is evidence of that!
The trailer pictured here is for sale in my area and the owner is asking $2500. I haven't called them yet but wondered if anyone could offer some insight as to the year and/or model that it is? I'm guessing mid to late 80's from the research I've done but I'm not sure. Would it have a steel or wood frame? I have seen the great posts on things to look for when buying a used Hi-Lo but are there any potential issues unique to this year/model? Thanks! Tom |
Tom
I have a 1981 classic and this one looks similar to mine but newer, of course on mine the door is on the front, I know on mine the frame is steel and as long as the roof is not leaking they are very well built and they tow nicely. for me the size is perfect 21' and it meets my needs for camping. |
Buying a used HI Lo
Follow the items listed on buying a used HiLo. Nothing unique to this year or model. Water dammage is the worst thing, also expensive.

Thanks
