Default lexel caulk question

Are people using the clear or the white Lexel? I am curious.

The color is your choice, but remember that it is NOT paintable.
I advise/ prefer to clean out the old before installing the new. Using a paint stir stick/shim works well to clean without scraping off existing paint. I do not use a scraper or sharp blade!
Use to close any gaps and smooth surface, but not more than necessary.

On their website it says it IS paintable. I guess I will just use the clear.

I am sorry, I stand corrected.
I thought it was a silicone based sealant.
That is good to know.
apologies!

Default Lexel caulk

This is premium caulk at about $8.00 a tube. Easy to apply and can be applied in cold weather. Available at Ace hardware,Lowes or online. The other day I bought caulk for my neighbor and it was $6.00 a tube.

Default Lexel Caulk

It is the best very durable and long lasting I use it on my 86 funchaser.
