Looking at a 1995 FunMaker

Asking price is $6000. It needs a new fridge, new canopy, new tires, windscreen cover on front is missing, and windscreen is cracked (but not leaking.) minor things like clock doesn’t work. A/c and heat work. The person using it for the last couple years has only used it parked under a metal canopy at their parents house, so they do not know if the sewer system works, but they believe that it does. They bought it a couple of years ago. Is this a good deal? How hard is it to find needed parts?

Price seems a little high. Price a refrigerator. Probably can only get one that runs on propane or electric. Can you install this your self? Awnings are expensive. Price one out. Some just use a screened dinning set up. Some just use a dorm electric fridge. You don't know if the roof leaks because it has been under a carport. Factor in the price of all new tires and possibly rims. Use the buyers check list to help you check out this unit. Where are you located? Perhaps another HiLo owner can help you xcheck this unit out. A unit of this age needs to have all the windows taken our and lined with fresh buty tape. Then Lexel caulk on the outside of the window. This can be a DIY project. Possibly the seal between the layers needs to be changed out. I personally would never pay this much for a used HiLo needing the items you have listed.

Most parts are common to any RV. Only a few parts are specific to the lift system.

Sorry to say this but this one sounds like a salvage project type camper. My first Hi-Lo was a 1990 and it did not have all these problems and I still worked on it constantly for at least the first 2 years to get it like we wanted. Sold it and moved up to a 2004 in fairly good shape. Am now working on it. Main thing is that you need to be really handy at these things OR have alot of money.
