Went and picked it up today. It's a 1981 model # 2581. It needs plenty of elbow grease but I got for one heck of a deal! A whole $75!!!!!!!!!

LOL! I'm in Kansas City KS.

I found it in FB Market Place of all places. I figured it had to be total junk for $75. Nope, and you are right!

I spent the day cleaning it out and assessing the water damage. It's not too bad. It has one broken cable so we jacked that corner up while raising it. I plugged the A.C. in and it blows nice and cold. Tomorrow I wanna take a look at the fridge and see if it works. I need to so some reading on it first. I've never had a fridge that runs on propane...

Refer Coils

If the refer doesn't work, check to see if it's just the coils (noted on electrical operation, but on Propane too). My last one, in a 2176B, was the coils putting out STRONG, ammonia when turned on. If so, you can just replace the coils with a Kit and not the whole expense or time replacing the whole refer. A whole lot less expensive and time consuming.

BTW, I finally "upgraded" last month to a 2600TFB. Only 17 years old rather than 41 and had it for 29 years myself. Just doing minor maintenance sealing.

Any pictures to share of the interior?

I don't. It's currently gutted and getting a new floor.
