Default 2002 tow lite brake size

I have a 2002 Tow lite and am in need of brakes. On the spec label it states 2200 lb. Axle weights. Brake backing plates look to be 10". Would anyone one know what size brakes were installed on the rig originally!

Welcome. If memory serves me correctly, HiLo used 10" electric brakes on their units.

I know mine are 10", but I think the brake size is a function of the axle used. My axle is rated at 3500#. Perhaps, fir your axle is a Dexter, you could find the brake size from their website.

Otherwise, simply open up one of the drums and measure what you have. It's not a complicated thing to do, especially if you're planning to replace the brakes anyway. I think you can get them shipped to you in a fairly short time. I got mine through e-trailer as I recall.

Thanks. I'm thinking judging by the drum they are 2/14 shoes because removing the wheels on a tow lite is such a pain!
