21 years old and looking at a older HI-LOW Camper

HI you guys,
Im just about 21 and looking to start my own adventurer with my best friend. We are looking a few diffident campers and I ran across a hi low camper. My first question is I have a 2002 jeep liberty and was looking for something that I can tow with. I do have the stabilizer hitch with bars and electrical brakes. But we are traveling around the USA while it snows at home. were looking at one of these because the fact neither one of us has every towed a trailer bigger than 14ft and that was a tin boat. What your guys option on a hi low camper for first timers.

you need to check your tow rating on your liberty first. remember, you have to add all weight into the equation including people, luggage, food, base weight of trailer,a/c unit, gas bottles, awning, dog, water, etc. I think the lightest hi-lo is around 2900 lbs plus options, and that is a 15 foot lite version. if you look in the hi-lo forum library, they have some models and weights listed to help get you started, but if you have the diesel, it might work, the gas motor,i don't think so. best of luck with your searches and welcome to the forum, and also, if you can add your town and state to your ID and this can help you with hi-lo members close by
