Default Advice for a new owner

I am picking up my first hi-lo trailer tonight. It is a 26' 1993 model 2693br. I was wondering what type of cable/lift maintenance I should do first. I have owned several campers in the past and know a lot about bearings and maintenance on plumbing. Is there a thread on here already that addresses maintenance?

There are plenty of posts on cables. Just do a search on cables and lift system. All the owners manual says is to inspect and lube.
