Default Any 1971 owners out there? need help.

If you own a 1971 model of any kind, I need some help with the VIN.
I have the serial number, 5 digits, which is the last digits of the VIN,
but i have no idea what the first 12 digits would be. Bought this old trailer
with no title, license, or paperwork. Trying to register it. NO GO without the
proper VIN.
I have looked on the trailer everywhere that i was told it would be stamped.
It is not there.
Thanks for any info possible.
Jim

Don't own a '71, but 3 places to look for the VIN are: 1. Look for a sticker on the inside of a cabinet door. 2. Look for a sticker close to the 110v breaker panel or 12v fuse box. 3. Heard that HiLo sometimes stamped the VIN on the tongue area of the trailer. Good luck and happy hunting.

I was going to suggest the tongue area as well. It seems like I remember our Vin on a 75' model was on the trailer tongue.
