Default Awning questions...

I searched, but it was never really addressed. When choosing an awning, they have a "Short" option 62 5/8" to 75" and a "Tall" option 75" to 88 1/8"... I am assuming this is for the "legs" that hold the awning out and away. I also assume I would need the "Short" option due to the way they are mounted on the Hi-Lo.

Mine doesn't have an awning so I have nothing to compare it to/against...

Also, can I go pretty much from end to end in length? I looked and can't really see anything keeping me from doing so. I just want as much room under the awning as I can get. You know, place for the table and an area for chairs so I can "hang out" when the confines of the inside are too close...

My Awning is about 3 to 4 inches from each end not including the end caps of the trailer. I don't have any idea about the short option or tall option other than maybe that's where the arms are fastened to the side of the trailer. The long ones would be dragging on the ground when the camper is lowered. Don't know.

Cheers

I believe you have to order the awning that is made to fit HiLo. The arms are shorter than normal length.

Added Note: You also need the bottom mounting brackets made for HiLo.

Here is a web page where you can order the hardware for a Hi-lo. Looks like you have to pick Hi-lo hardware for it to fit

Spirit FX Vinyl Patio Awning - $902.00 : RV Awnings Online - Guaranteed Lowest Prices

Default Getting a replacement awning

Could someone who has a 22 ft classic take a picture of what your awning looks like closed and open in use. Probably many of us have the trailer in winter storage. Perhaps some measurements would help. Do you have any of the awning hardwear on the side of your trailer. Awnings sure are expensive.
