cable system on till out

my cable system on my hilo tilt out does not work, the motor runs and it makes a lot of noise. Does anyone know where I can get a manual to repair this?

It's actually a nylon strap. If you pull the center panel right above the tilt out, you'll see it.

Tilt Out motor strap

I had the same issue at one time. I had operated the motor a bit too long when retracting the pop out sofa section and the nylon strap came undone from the motor cylinder. I saw that the motor cylinder had a small hole about 3/8th dia. and the strap end was kind of wrapped and tied to fit inside that hole. Instead off struggling to thread it back in; like threading a needle; I cut off the twisted nylon end and worked with a flat strap end instead. Then I used sticky back velcro about 2" wide. One on the cylinder, the other on the strap. I manually gave the strap a couple of winds to secure it to motor cylinder. The motor will only complete so many revs in each direction to stop. Find the rev position that completes the return to floor for the tilt as you call it, At that stage, attach the two velcro material pieces, refer above about a few starting revs. Easy because the strap has slack in it. Now operate the switch in the lift up mode and it should work. Took me about 10 minutes, maybe less.
