Default Carrying Bicycles?

I have a 2005 21' Hi Lo. Any suggestions for the best way to bring along a couple of bike's? Thinking about a bike carrier that fits over the spare tire but not sure if it is strong enough? Your thoughts would be appreciated...thanks...donm

I've done exactly that. It is a bike carrier that I got from Camping World that attaches to the rear bumper. It rises up on both sides of the spare tire and sits just behind the tire. I've carried two bikes on it without problems.

When I'm not using it to carry bikes, I reverse the top so the carrying "bars" face forward, toward the back of the trailer. This reversal is simple, because the top half inserts into the bottom half and is held with two simple pins.

Edit: I just looked for it on the Camping World website and can't find it. But, it's the "bumper mount" rack shown on this page: http://www.etrailer.com/RV-and-Motor...an/S80500.html It takes a little time to secure the bikes to the rack, but it's not a "horrible" process.
