Default Do we need sway bars?

In my Facebook group, there is huge discussion about sway bars. Do we need them with our Hi Lo's?

Default Sway

That's easy -- Yes, No, and maybe. Is that clear enough for you. LOL

Again size and weight and driving speed and where you are driving are very important as to which of the above answers will work for you.
Speed -- sway bars help the faster that you drive.
Wind -- Happy to say hilo are lower than most so the wind effects us the least of the campers. But they help with the wind also.
Weight of everything -- If your truck (TV) is heavy enough and you hilo is light then sway bars will not help as much. Light truck and heavy hilo the sway bars help out more.
Hills and mountains -- Sway bars can help out a lot is these areas.

Needed?? Would like to have them to make things easier yes.

My thoughts -- as you can tell it's up to you and a lot of other things.
Someone else posted the he was driving at 60 mph plus on interstate -- I would really want sway bars then.

Later Tim

I've always heard that 17' and over you should use a WDH with sway bars.
