External 110 outlet
I started thinking of how to put in an outside 110 outlet so I could have lights outside. Today while locking my push lawnmower under the Hi Lo to the frame I saw a cover on the right side just below the furnace opened the cover and there it is an outlet. Any other surprises I might find on this?

I don't know if the external 110 outlet on ours is factory, or aftermarket, I've always thought that the previous owner added ours. It's installed inside of the outside shower compartment.

External 110 outlet
I installed one in the nose of my trailer with an internal plug and a switch to control the out side plug. I installed a external plug on the bottom of the nose on the door side, then I installed a male outside plug on the same place on the road side. Make sure to keep them away from the trailer toung. then I installed a extention cord from the 110v plug by the converter through the compartment door, infront on road side with a cable hatch. I plug and unplug when I set up and brake down. I wired the male plug to a 110 volt, I installed in the nose so I can use inside. I wire it to a switch to control the out side 110 volt exernal plug, so I can plug up the awning lights and turn on and off inside. I use the inside plug to plug up a fan I blow through the trailer in the summer to keep the trailer cooler.

Sam would the one on the bottom of the floor under the furnace be factory or added later? It is a plastic covered outlet. Mine is a 94 21FL. I may add one to the front area too if there isn't one there already. Thanks.

Yes your out side plug is factory. On my 1986 21 funlite the external plug was mounted under the trailler, behind the rear axel. My cruent trailer a 1999 29b has the external plug on the door side, near the rear awning arm.
