Getting rid of logos

We are getting close to sending the trailer to paint and then to get mounted with the subframe!
.
Removing the decals with razorblades, heatguns, and goo-gone was obscenely slow. Someone recommended the 3m removal tool that you use with a drill. It's kind of like an eraser. We bought that and another one that was ribbed. They strip the decals and glue off like butter! The fiberglass deals with it no problem!
.
Knocked out 8 feet in about 15-20 minutes! No heat, no chemicals, but lots off cleanup from the decal mess on the ground!

Hind sight is a great thing.

If you put plastic on the ground you could have rolled it up and thrown the plastic away. The only down side is slipping on the plastic and getting the gooey mess on your shoes. Glad the 3m wheel worked for you.

Glad to know about something better than a razor blade. Where did you find the 3M tool ? Also what are you planning on using for paint. Our 2004 22TL has one side that is really in poor shape due to sun fading. Please keep us posted on your progress.

The wheel is from Amazon it is called a 3M stripe off wheel.
We are still in negotiation on the paint color. The truck cab is Dodge Sublime, the chassis of the truck is black. Updates will definitely follow as to color and paint info!
