Default Hi-Lo Lift

Can anyone Help ! I had to rebuild the Hyd cylinder on my 69 Hi-LO and now that it is installed the lift won't work, when you move the switch to lift up the solenoid just clicks but when you short the correct post the pump will run and raise the top. The things that i have done, CHECKED ALL WIRES AND REPAIRED TO MAKE GOOD CONTACT, REPLACED THE SOLENOID, CHECK THE BREAKER, REPLACED THE SWITCH, TRIED A DIFFERENT BATTERY THAT I KNOW IS GOOD. I have a wiring schematic but does not show all of the colored wires. The other question is when you move the switch to lower top is the pump suppose to run . I have not replaced the lowering solenoid.

Since the pump runs and raises the top when you bypass the solenoid, I suspect you've wired the solenoid output incorrectly.

The pump should not run when the switch is moved to the lowering position.
