Default Hi-Torque Acme Power Jack No Model #

Went out camping this past weekend. Survived a four inch rain storm.
Defenitely need to replace the Rocker switch item # 24 Part #738-0007. Also need item 36 Part #22414 Switch seal. Found a Co. in California that didn't return a phone call to me. The switch is $35.00 probably more for shipping. Then I called PPL Motor Home in Texas. I have had good luck with ordering parts from them. The information I have is H&H Engineering Division of Barker MFG.CO/730 E. Michigan Ave/P.O.Box 460/Battle Creek MI 49016 1-760-651-4005. DH thinks this is not the original jack that came with this 1996 26ft. Classic. We also don't have the crank as we bought the HiLo used. DH is very well versed in electronics. PPL will try to contact Barker for parts. Beginning to think it might be cheaper to buy an entire new jack. Hate our throw away society.Checked with our RV dealer and they have very limited amt. of switches in stock. Leaving for camping later in the week. Maybe someone is better searching than me.

Default Getting Power Jack Rocker switch.

Both places I tried were out of stock with no ETA. Wanted $35.00 and $22.00. Found a switch on Amazon that DH thinks will work. Got lucky had enough credit card points to get the $1`1.99 switch for free. Had prime shipping..free. Should be here on Thursday. The switch had to be Momentary,Double pole,Double throw,Water proof and a Rocker switch. DH removed the old switch. The inner guts fell apart and had evidence of being burnt.

Default Emergency cranking of Power Jack.

DH used 3/8 Socket Extension. He turned it with 12" Crescent wrench. Clock wise is raising and counter clock wise is lowering. Said it wasn't hard to do. Thanks DH a crank handle is $26.00. Should have the replacement switch tomorrow. Not an exact replacement. Should work. Married a very good looking man who also is handy. 39yrs. and counting.
