Default how long is my hi lo?

When measuring a hi lo, do you only measure the body, or do you include the tongue in the measurement? I am trying to figure out exactly what I have. Thanks for any help.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

I believe the tongue is included in the measurement but not the spare tire (assuming it is on the back bumper).

As I recall, it's from the tongue socket to the back bumper (rounded), which is different from the way other trailers are measured - they measure the "box" length.

Our measuring system means our living space is about 3 ft shorter than another brand of the same "length".

To my way of thinking, it says I can fit into a smaller camping space than the "length" would otherwise dictate.
