It's the little rubber flapper thingy that fits over the water hose connector to keep it clean when not attached to a hose.

Mine has dry rotted and there's not much left of it.

This is a 3/4" female hose cap fitting.
Not sure where to purchase a rubber/plastic one with tether, But any plumbing supplier, HD-Lowes-ace will have a brass one, but not with a tether. Probably can also get a plastic cap from the irrigation dept, and will be cheaper than brass.

I would think you would have to purchase the entire RV plate and fill unit to get the little screw on cap. Seems kind of silly just for the tether.

It is a water inlet plug strap, camping world under $2.00.

and that's just the ticket, Tess. Under two bucks plus $7 S&H.
Guess I'll pick one up next time I'm near CampWorld (30 min. drive).
