Input on the purchase of 15T

We have our eye on a 15T. Anyone have any pluses or minuses to this rig?

It doesn't have a microwave. It is an option. Wondering where it could go.

Thanks for any input you can give.

Welcome to the forum. I bought a 2008 19T last fall. It weighs 3100lb empty so it tows great even without a weight distribution hitch. My F150 V8 Ford truck gets 10 mpg with my 5000lb 27' Crossroads and 15mpg with my Hi-Lo.

The microwave sits on top of the fridge and stores under the dinette when top
is lowered.

We took it to Amarillo Tx for Thanksgiving and it was comfortable even though it was cold outside.

You have to really keep stuff put away otherwise you will be tripping over it cause room is tight. But the advantages of easy towing and parking make me want to take it out more than the bigger travel trailer.

Hope you buy the 15T and enjoy it. :)

I purchased a 1508t in November 2011. I haven't used it yet because of some health issues. I purchased it because I want to take some trips out west and stay in the National Parks. It was wired for a solar panel. I installed a 100watt on the roof and I have another 100 watt panel that I am going to put on a thin wall convolute poll. I have all led lights and two group 27 batteries. I want to be able to boondock on occasion. One thing that I really like about it is that if easily fits into my garage. I have pulled it with just a 2 inch ball behind my Dodge RAM pick up and I couldn't tell it was back there. I have since purchased a Fastway e2 load equalizer hitch, just to be safe. I had two hitch installers tell me that with my truck I didn't need the WDH with anti sway. The WDH is probably over kill but it never hurts to be safe. I plan on taking the little hitch for moving from my camp site to the dump station and back.

Good Luck

The factory microwave is usually installed in the space below the stove. If you value space over a microwave, especially in the 15T, buy a small microwave oven and keep the cupboard space. Built-in microwaves are expensive also. We bought a microwave at Walmart for $40 and have yet to use it in the trailer because we boondock so much and it would be in the way most of the time.
