Investigating refrigerator flames

1 Attachment(s)
I was working on my Dometic Refrigerator RM2510 and was testing propane operations. This refrigerator doesn't have a pilot light or electric starter. You manually light the burner. During normal operations the burner is either in low flame mode when no cooling is required or the thermostat set to OFF. Or the burner is in high flame mode when cooling is required or constantly on with the thermostat set to MAX.

I couldn't see any difference during the day so I waited for dark. At night I couldn't see any real difference either except maybe the high flame seemed a little more excited.

I took some pictures anyway so I could measure flame size on my PC monitor. When looking at the photos on the PC it shows the camera sensor can really see the difference between low and high flames. See attachment.

Have fun,
Steve
