The 6 gallon hot water heater on our 1993 22ft. that we are redoing would not work. I am not very sharp on matters like this. I phone Atwood technical 3 times and was treated as a customer should be treated. They led me through checking amps, bypassing the thermo cut off (diode), relocating the ground wire, and finally to take the circuit board and have tested. I took the board to the nearest RV location and they "bench tested it". It worked only 2 out of 10 times. Bought a new board and bingo, we now have hot water. Nice to do business with professionals that can deal with "not so professionals".
