Default Lampshades need a refurb

Our Lampshades in our 96 Hi-Lo have seen better days. I've looked all over for new ones, but the only ones I can find are for the candelabra type of bulb which the clip is too long. So I says to myself "aren't any good the way they are" so here is my first prototype of trying to remake the lampshade using contact paper and electrical tape. Needless to say I need more practice and need my wife to pick the colors.

Default Getting new lampshades

You can order the exact replacement lampshades at www.hobby lobby.com Yrs ago I needed to replace mine as they were yellowed. Couldn't find them anywhere and paid a bloody nose from HiLo. Then sometime after wards I found them at Michaels craft store. I would say to stick with the white shade as it will give you better light. Corection I saw them at AC moore craft store. Hope this helps.

I replaced all the lampshades in our 96 Hi-Lo. Found them at Hobby Lobby. I agree with Sam I bought colored ones first as I thought they would stay nicer longer but after putting them on I found that they didn't put out as much light so exchanged them for the white ones. Since replacing them I've also seen them at Michael's and a couple other craft stores.
