leaving trailer attached over night
I know this got discussed somewhere earlier this summer, sort of- but I am just wondering. For those of you that pull off for the night and leave the TV hooked up- do you release the spring bars on the WDH? I've never done it, actually. I always wondered if you are leveling it front to back for the evening how that stresses everything- so I usually just drop mine but don't move it much so its easy to connect quick in the morning. Just curious.

Leaving them on will not put any more stress on the hitch, TV, or trailer than driving down the road does. I always leave them on and have done this with 2 trailers for many years.
I do disconnect the electrical cable from the TV. |
I leave connected to TV unless there is leveling issues for frig to work.
If you do disconnect, remember to also disconnect power cable from TV. |
I've always left them fully connected, cause I'm lazy like that. And we usually have a second vehicle for running around as needed.
