Default length of 17T with hitch

Can someone confirm how long a 17T is with the hitch. Because city zoning restrictions, I need to park the trailer in my garage. My garage is 20 ft deep, but I'll need 2 or 3 ft of clearance.

Thanks
Frank

The brochures say 17'-9" plus the spare tire which would be about 8". That makes about 18'-5" total. We had a 1705T, it was a nice trailer.

Frank, the trailer is 8 ft wide too, so you have to account for that dimension.

I just built an outside metal "carport" for my 1707T, and sized it 20L x 12W X 10H. It's actually about 12ft high in the center with the roof slope. I wanted to be able to raise the trailer inside the shelter. These dimensions seem to suit my trailer perfectly.

I needed the shelter because I've moved to Pine, in the mountains of Arizona and we get snow (and more rain) up here.

You should also consider the height of the trailer in the down position. With the airconditioner on top, the trailer is somewhere around 7 feet tall, or maybe a little taller.
