I don't think you're quite going to make that HOA reg. That model HiLo DOES meet the 72 inch height limit when lowered, if it doesn't have an air conditioner, but the AC unit adds another 8-10 inches to the lowered height. There are other things on top that add to the height a bit, vent covers TV antenna and the stink pipe come to mind, but they are only about 2-3 inches and you could probably get by with them.

Aren't HOA's grand... they dictate what you can and can't own.

Build a couple of sections of your fence higher - LOL if they allow it, and hide it behind that.

A co-workers HOA said that riding mowers had to be cavered or in a shed... They sent him a picture of his on the back of his house not covered.

He went to the - LOL - "hearing" and informed them if they ever went on his property to take a picture again they would be trespassing and at that point he has the right to shoot them... Needless to say, they dropped the issue.

They have the right to enforce the rules - but not by breaking them to find violations - HIDE IT so they can't see it. 6' seems to be a very arbitrary number, don't you think? And that pretty much eliminates EVERY RV out there except a "pop up" tent trailer or a teardrop.
