Default Lower roof manually

I can't believe the bad luck I have experienced so far on my camping trip right now. Not only did a I lose a tire, but the up/down switch for the roof fell out of the wall as a result of the defective tire.

I can manually pump up my roof with the manual pump. But I am afraid to do so because I don't know how to lower it without the switch. Any suggestions? Is there a way to lower the roof until I can get the switch replaced? I am hoping there is screw you can turn on the manual pump like ones you find on a portable 2 ton jack to lower it.

Raiderboy,

There is small valve/ screw, similar to what you would find on a bottle jack, on the front of the manual pump. Turn it slowly (counter-clockwise I believe) and the top should go down. Let us know how it goes.

You will also need your assistant pull the safety catch cable when you do this. If the top is resting on it may be hard to pull, so if you can raise it to get the weight off do so.
